PC 12 Clear or Black Bottom

“Short and stable” that is what PLEDGER’S CRAFT was designing when we can up with these beautifully hand crafted recreational vessels. Two lengths are available , 12’ and 14’ with either Clear Bright Work or Carbon Black hulls. This vessel is a great recreational craft because it is wide and semi flat bottom. The large hatch behind the cockpit is roomy and convenient to the paddler. It can be used to carry your K9 friend, a small child or fishing gear.

The design of this craft lends itself to the Kayak Fishing Sport as a very competitive craft. It is not only wide and stable but fast. This craft has a built up skag under the stern area which causes this craft to track straight after one finishes paddling. Unlike most plastic kayaks this kayak will continue a straight track after one puts down the paddle to pickup the rod for fishing. The side mounting trolling motor allows the Fisherman to troll along lake banks without struggling with both paddle and rod.  The 14’ model has extra room for fish and fishing gear in the hatch and aft compartments. A bulkhead seals the rear compartment to allow it to be used as a wait well keeping the fish alive. The cloth hatch cover prevents the fish from jumping out.

KITS:

We offer the Recreational Boats in Kits. The kits contain all the materials you will need to complete the boat.  All kits will have strips that are at least 12” longer than the boat ordered, ex:  For the 12’ boats the strips will be 13’ or longer and the 14’ boat will have 15’ or longer strips.  All strips are milled to approximately 1/4” thick and are milled with Bead and Cove edges.

The kits will come with 2 gallons of WEST SYTEM 105/207 Epoxy. A complete list of the contents of the kits can be emailed to you upon request at johng@pledgerscraft.com .

Shipping is free up to 250 miles. For shipment further than 250 miles a rate of  $0.45 per mile one way will be charged.
